Significance of Salher Fort – History & Legacy

Salher Fort is a very important place in history. It was a strong and powerful fort during the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the year 1672, a big fight happened here – the Battle of Salher – between the Marathas and the Mughals. This battle was special because it was one of the few large wars that happened on a fort, and the Marathas won it proudly.
